I've always been inspired by the ability to create, think critically, and execute on ideas that progress the world. I've lived in Hong Kong, Toronto, San Francisco, France, and (soon) New York — I switched schools over five times, built communities, businesses (3x), and ultimately found what excites me.
I wore hard hats around my Dad's factories since I was eight. It wasn't until his bankruptcy 10 years later, following the '08 financial crisis, that I learned he raised at a $100M valuation, and led hundreds of hard-working white and blue-collar workers to build his vision for solar-grade silicon.
At fourteen, I built my first business within what I loved: sneakers. I sold contemporary sneakers to those twice my age, handling amounts of money I'd never seen, before meeting a supplier who would disappear after a $7,000 deposit. Four years later, reconstructing business models, opening distribution and supplier channels, and continual execution — I scaled the business to over C$2M in revenue.
